Education: PhD in Physics, Kansas State University (2010) B.S. in Physics & Applied Mathematics, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2005) Research interest: Physics Education Research Previous research studies included facilitating case reuse, a novice problem solving approach, using research-based strategies; examining students' understanding of reflection, refraction, and optical fibers; and developing teaching simulations of physical vapor deposition methods.
