We laugh as we read this quote so many years after it was written, and we think of how limited is our vision when we are standing in one square foot of earth time.  We wonder how we could have thought the space between us was so small.  And yet, we somehow find ourselves saying the very same thing again, fifteen years into this shared journey.

But we smile because we see that the more awake we are to the largeness, the further we can travel and the more stars there are for us to see.  This illumination carries our joy as far as the rings of Saturn because we imagine that you too are discovering infinite beginnings as you dig deeper and deeper into the dimensions of this love…and that you are beaming knowingly as you reach toward the inexhaustible magnitude that stretches even farther and wider between us.
