Reading Schedule

the Primary text or the course is Max Boot, War made New: Technology, Warfare, and the course of History 1500 to Today (Gotham Books, 2006). In addition, there will be additional readings from journals (online links through ANGEL)

The readings for the course are as follows. You should have read the readings for the class indicated.

March 21: Boot, Epilogue, and then Prologue, Intro and Part I in full.

March 28: Boot, Part II, but only one of the three battle sections (your choice)

April 4: ,Boot, Part III, but only one of the three battle sections (your choice)

April 11: Boot, Part IV, omitting ch. 11

April 18: Boot, Part V
