Bibliographies

In an attempt to provide general introductions for students in subject areas of interest to AVISTA, our members have generated some basic bibliographies on a wide range of topics, some general, others specialized.

The complexity of the bibliographies is indicated in the second column. A simple, introductory bibliography rates as a 1 while a highly specialized one or one with many obscure entries or many foreign-language sources ranks a 10. Remember, of course, that even a complex one may contain numerous basic or medium references of use to anyone researching that particular topic.

These bibliographies may be available in various formats:
  • HTML will provide the bibliography in a new browser window
  • RTF is a text file readable by virtually any wordprocessing software
  • ENL is an end-note bibliographical database readable by many commercial database programs (generally not annotated like the HTML or RTF versions)
