PERSONAL INTERESTS:
Outside of the University setting, I have tried to maintain a "real life." I have been assistant den leader in a Cub Scout pack; I have managed a Little League team; I served on the Wellsville, NY Board of Education (a political scientist involved in politics!)(NY State Education); I wrote a column for the Wellsville newspaper. My personal interests include (but are not limited to) music (from the Rolling Stones to Beethoven)(Rolling Stones, Beethoven), baseball (indeed, sports in general)(Sports-in-General), science fiction, and history (especially the Civil War era)(Civil War). One of my favorite places on the planet (Planet) and in the galaxy (Galaxy) is Paris (Paris) --and especially the Louvre (Louvre). I was selected as a "Community Hero" by United Way and, thus, ran one leg of the Olympic torch relay in July, 1996.
