This
upper-division rhetoric course gives students the opportunity
to read, talk, listen, and write together about
literary texts that have generated public controversy.
Students will
work with various publics
to come to collaborative rhetorical judgments about
the presence and purposes of literary public spheres
in actually existing democracies.
