A Group of pipers and drummers from the former Cairngorm Pipe Band, sometimes known as the "Gang of Six," started HMH in 1986 in order to encourage higher standards of playing and promote bagpipe band music in the area. We have had many ups and downs since then but have survived and today are stronger than ever.
