Note: A primary consideration derived from these data is whether to run at 2.5X83 or 3X75. I prefer 3X75. This setting has an edge over 2.5X83. Deciding which to use is more a matter of hardware than performance. If your CPU cooling is adequate I favor 3X75. On the other hand if your concerned about about overheating the CPU, run at 2.5X83. This is minimal overclocking of the CPU, but you bus cards must be capable. A flakey HD controller can be disastrous.

Note: The 128M PEDO configuration failed at 3X75 with a 2940UW. For this particular configuration, you need the Symbios 875. Failure of the HD controller has disastrous consequences.
