Welcome.  

     Here you'll find an overview of my work in

landscape architecture and environmental planning.

I'm interested in ecological design and restoration,


riparian urbanism
, and renascent city landscapes and

green networks.  Since 2005 I've been involved with

collaborative action research
that promotes community /

landscape co-resilience in the face of
 climate change 

and globalization
in south Asia and Africa.

    I teach several studios and seminars at graduate

and undergraduate levels (see Teaching, below), with an

emphasis on engaged scholarship.
