Welcome.  

     Here you'll find an overview of my work in

landscape architecture and environmental planning.

My applied scholarship focuses on ecological design and

restoration,
riparian urbanism, green networks, and

renascent city landscapes. 
Since 2005 I've collaborated

on action research
in south Asia and Africa that fosters

community / landscape co-resilience in the face

of
 climate change and globalization.

    I teach several studios and seminars at graduate

and undergraduate levels (see Teaching, below), with

a
n emphasis on community-engaged design and planning.
