The Australian National University has made this large collection available to look at and learn from.

A collection of how-to pages and reproductions of examples of work in charcoal.

Web Museum: Artist Index
An index of on-line reproductions primarily of the work of European painters.
You can do study sketches from them to study the paintings and extend your drawing skills.

World Art Treasures
There are many interesting and informative programs in this site. Especially relevant to this course are those devoted to Botticelli, Roman Portraits and Vermeer.

This site includes over 60,000 reproductions of images on paper.
