Resource and Environmental Economics I (AEREc 519)
Course Description: AEREc 519 presents theories and methods used in economic research on natural resources and the environment. Major topics include theoretical and applied modeling of economy-environment relationships, causes and consequences of market failure affecting environmental services, the design and evaluation of environmental policy instruments, the political economy of environmental policy, and the valuation of environmental and natural resource services.
