A "megasite" with a huge number of links to all the great religious traditions.
Another good launch site operated from our own department at Penn State. And some Religious Studies links
(Thanks to Suchismita Sen for all her hard work).
A site from Rice University offers still more resources.
Sacred-texts.com gives access to all sorts of religious and esoteric documents.
Other good general source sites, with lots of links, can be found here and here.
A general site for news and information on religious issues (and even humor) is beliefnet.
Online Religious Studies journals.
For American religions, West Virginia University offers a couple of useful sites, including a full-text online journal, the Journal of Southern Religion. Also good is the Material History of American Religion Project.
The American Religion Data Archive, ARDA, contains a wealth of social science data.
The American Academy of Religion (AAR). And check out their list of related organizations here.
One of the most valuable services offered by the AAR is their collection of Religious Studies syllabuses.
Another useful resource is the directory of funding opportunities collected by the Association of Theological Schools, which runs far beyond just theology, or even religious studies.
