FIJA Distribution of October 27 and 28, 2010:

I arrived at the James T. Foley U. S. District Court, 445 Broadway, Albany, NY at 11:45 am on Wednesday, October 27, 2010.  It was an overcast day, since it had rained all morning previous to my appearance.  I was met by Bernie Continelli, one of the American Jury Institute representatives for New York State, another couple, and Jeff Russell and Bill McMillan of the Capital Outsider Show. Jeff and Bill made a video of me discussing the fully informed jury.

Then we distributed the American Jury Institute pamphlet entitled “A Primer for Potential Jurors.” Two federal police officers stood about 5 feet directly behind us. There was no interaction between them and us. They were doing their duty to see that we did not block traffic or abuse passersby, and that passersby did not abuse us. We distributed about 50 pamphlets until we quit at 1:00, because it started to rain.

Bernie Continelli and one of the un-named participants from the day before appeared again at the James T. Foley U. S. District Court, 445 Broadway, Albany, NY at 11:45 am on Thursday, October 28, 2010. It was a very pleasant sunny day with a temperature of about 65 degrees Fahrenheit. The two federal officers assumed the same position as the previous day and stayed throughout the distribution, again with no interaction. We had some friendly conversations with a few passersby. We distributed about 40 pamphlets and left at 1:15 pm.
