This website is meant to serve as a study guide and /or refresher that outlines the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites in their simplest form. This is an abbreviated representation of many of the secondary biochemical pathways in plants. All of the photographs were taken from Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Plants by Buchanan et al, unless otherwise indicated, and some have been modified for this project.
