We will periodically post your scores for homework, quizes and exams. Postings will also include a projected final score so that you can estimate your standing in the class. The following table translates the numerical grades that I provide into the University's letter grades.
Please note that homework is scored on a straight percentage basis (your total number of points divided by the total possible points for all homework). Individual exam scores may reflect a "renormalization", but no curve is applied to the final set of scores when determining final grades.
The final score is weighted 25% for total homework, and 25% for each exam (2 midterms and final).
