Lab assignment #6 -- Survey Research
(Due in lab Wednesday, February 27)
Note: Turning in this assignment by February 27th is
crucial to enable the lab for March 1st to be constructed.
This lab is worth 20 points.
For this project, we will conduct a survey concerned with reasons for attending college, work habits, and reactions to the proposed tuition increases. For this project, you should give this survey in face-to-face interviews with ten individuals. We will use convenience sampling; that is, interview whoever is convenient, as long as they are not currently taking PSY 201. Review the strategies for effective interviewing on pages 93-94 of the textbook. Record their answers in the spaces indicated, and turn the survey in during our class on February 27th.
SURVEY INSTRUCTIONS (read to individuals taking the survey)
Please indicate whether you
somewhat disagree, [interviewer code 2]
