Kenneth Gray is professor emeritus of workforce education and development in the College of Education at the Pennsylvania State University. He holds a BA in economics from Colby College, an MA in counseling psychology from Syracuse University, and a doctorate in vocational technical education from Virginia Tech. Prior to joining the faculty at Penn State, he was the Superintendent of the Vocational TechnicalHigh School system in Connecticut and has been a high school English teacher, guidance counselor, and administrator. Gray has published widely and is frequently quoted in the national press. Books include Other Ways to Win, Getting Real:Helping Teens Find Their Future and the text book, Workforce Education: The Basics.
His research interests include high school career and technical education,postsecondary technical education and training, and economic development.
