PSU 007: First Semester Seminar Course Description: The Business Enterprise is designed as an interdisciplinary introduction to the world of business and the PSU Erie School of Business. A key objective is to introduce you to basic tools that will help you address rudimentary questions applicable to any business. The course has a case-based, active learning orientation. Instructors will teach from a common teaching case featuring a small business. Using the tools taught by the instructor, student teams address similar issues highlighting the relevance to the small business assigned to the team. Each course module presents a problem to your student teams. You must use rudimentary tools of business analysis to generate strategic choices for your assigned business. The series of "cliffhangers" you confront provide a realistic look at business operations and concerns. Return to Courses
