Catalog Description: Applied Regression Analysis (3) Introduction to linear and multiple regression; correlation; choice of models, stepwise regression, nonlinear regression. Prerequisite: Stat 200, Stat 220, Stat 240, Stat 250, Stat 301, or Stat 401.

Text and Calculator: Applied Linear Statistical Models, Fifth Edition, Kutner, Nachtsheim, Netter, and Li, McGraw-Hill/Irwin.

Makeup Examinations: Makeup exams are permitted with valid verifiable reasons. The student is responsible for presenting the valid verifiable reason to the instructor. This must be done prior to the scheduled quiz/exam, except in case of emergencies on the day of quiz/examination.
