Catalog Description: Elementary Statistics (4) Descriptive statistics, frequency distributions, probability, binomial and normal distributions, statistical inference, linear regression, and correlation. Prerequisite: 2 units in algebra.
Text and Calculator: Statistics: Principles and Methods, 5th Edition, R. A. Johnson & G. K. Bhattacharyya, John Wiley. A scientific calculator is required for the course.
