Family, and Autobiography

Family : Wife Indrani, and two children Priyanka and Somrit.

I was born in a small village, Purandarpur, Nadia, West Bengal, India. It is 60 miles north of Kolkata, the state capital of West Bengal.

After finishing my primary education at Purandarpur Primary School, I studied for a year at Bapuji Nagar Junior High School. Then I went to Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Narendrapur, West Bengal to finish my high school.

Then I earned my Bachelor of Statistics (Hons.), Master of Statistics and Post Graduate Diploma in Statistical Quality Control & Operations Research from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
