Cathy Vrentas' primers for inserting GAGA element into TRE5-70w.
TRE5/GAGA 1: GGCGCTCTCTCTCTCGAGCTCGAC. This anneals downstream of the 5 TRE's but it didn't work because the 5 repeats would not amplify properly.

TRE5/GAGA 2: AGCGTCTAGAGGCTGCAGGTCGAG. This annealled upstream or the 5 TRE's but it didn't work because the 5 repeats would not amplify properly.

TRE5/GAGA 3: TCGAGAGAGAGAGCGCCGGAGTATAAAT. This anneals upstream from the TATA box in TRE5-70w and is used with TR2 to amplify the core promoter region. The PCR product ends up with a GAGA element upstream from the TATA element.

TRE/GAGA 4: AGTCGAGCTCGAGAGAGAGAGCGCC. This overlaps with TRE/GAGA 3 and extends this the region upstream from the GAGA element so that there is an XhoI site. The Xho1 site will link up to the 5 TRE's in TRE-70w.
