Water coming in from everywhere…. Two pumps for redundancy, if one of them happens to quit.  The aft pump does not kick on until the water level reaches the top of the floors.  At this point the water is right under the bottom of the engine.

 

One of the other nice “features” of having a wooden boat is the ability to get inside the hull and hose everything down at the start of a new season.  Since there are ample pumps, you can hose and scrub everything to your hearts content, especially if the cabin is Spartan and open.
