Odds 'n Ends

• A Cripple Creek dulcimer I assembled from a kit.

• What's your "farthest" eBay sale?  Mine's Noel from Ireland.  Sold him some wetsuit shorts.

• I'm converting my record collection to CD.  It's easy and fun.  The site http://www.wavecor.co.uk/ganymede.html has all the info you need to do this yourself quickly and easily.  They also sell software to remove clicks, pops, hiss, rumble, etc. from your converted recordings.  I purchased it and consider it well worth the modest price.  There's freeware out there as well.  You'll need a tape player and/or turntable along with a sound card to do the conversion.
• A cool sledding video in wmv format taken in our front yard during winter 2003/04.  Heavy crust conditions make for GREAT sledding at our place!
