The Deuces were formed in the spring of
2005. Former members of several bands including NO ON
15, the Keystone All-Stars, and others, started writing and
arranging original music in a State College basement.
Since that time the deuces have recorded a 6-song EP and have
begun playing live shows at venues throughout west/central PA.
The Deuces musical style is a punk-inspired rock n' roll,
which has drawn comparisons to such bands as "Swingin'
Utters", "Bad Religion", and early
"Rancid".
Since every member of the band works full-time, we do this not
for the money, but because we love to play. Original
music carries with it a pride and a sense of artistry not
found in "cover-bands".
