Dr. Arthur Goldschmidt taught Middle East
history at Penn State
University from 1965 to 2000. He has been married to Louise Robb Goldschmidt since 1961. They have two sons: Stephen Robb Gold, who lives in Cotati, CA, and Paul William Goldschmidt, who lives in Middleton, WI. They also have a grandson, Julian Zachary Gold, who was born in 1996.
