Research Philosophy:  All scientists and managers of the world are wrong, that the most persistent principles of the universe are chance and error.

Teaching Philosophy:  The first training of students should be in how to learn.  And the first lesson of all should be the basic trust that they could learn.  Many students do not believe they can learn, and more believe learning to be difficult.  They should be taught that every experience carries its lesson.
