Vargas, Jr,.entitled: Physiology and Culture of Annual Bluegrass. While annual bluegrass (Poa annua L.) is typically considered a winter annual or short-lived perennial, it can form turfs of high visul and functional quality where it persists under favorable cultural conditions.
