Responsible for worldwide finance, distribution accounting, and information technology.       Reviewed, recommended, and installed enterprise software for worldwide operations. Developed comprehensive financial reporting and analysis package through Comshare FDC reporting and  Excel.

Responsible for all corporate and business unit finance, plant accounting and treasury functions.  Also responsible for all strategic planning, information management, production, sales and logistics planning and operational analysis.  Strategic business partner on all major decisions facing the organization. Re-engineered financial function to reduce headcount 25% with increased value-added services provided. Extensive LBO expertise developed through attempt to purchase salt business unit assets from Akzo Nobel n.v. Appointed board member on Information Technology Steering Committee for all Akzo U.S. operations. Prepared and implemented corporate wide plan to streamline operations, reduce SKU’s, and eliminate admin expense saving $15 million yearly. Developed comprehensive business plan to rebuild flooded Retsof mine.  After parent company decision not to proceed, sold plan to NY investor group for $10 million
