SCRC Fun Fly

Note: this is an SCRC Member only Fun Fly

This is a good chance to get together with other Club members and enjoy a nice day of flying activity.

Activities start at 10:00 with setting up the Tent, Table, and Grill.

Flying starts following the setup and lasts until dark.

Picnic style food and drink must be furnished by the participants.

The grill can be used to heat and/or cook your food.

Ice will be available for holding your cold drinks.

SCRC Fun Fly and Picnic

All Flyers with an AMA license, their family, and friends are welcome.

Activities start at 10:00 with setting up the Tent, Table, and Grill.

Flying starts following the setup and lasts until dark.

Picnic style food and drink must be furnished by the participants.

The grill can be used to heat and/or cook your food.

Ice will be available for holding your cold drinks.

No fees, just come and enjoy the day, the SCRC Flying Site, and the food.

Date: Saturday, January 20, 2007

Social time begins at 6:00PM with dinner being served at 7:00PM.

Cost is $17 per person for the Chicken Dinner.

 

The complete menu is:

 Appetizer
Salad
Filled Chicken Breast
Scalloped Potatoes
Green Beans
Roll and butter
Soda and
Peach Cobbler w/whipped topping or ice cream for dessert.

Checks need to go to Al Jones or George Mock made out to SCRC.

 Please pay by January 10th.

Great door prizes will be given out after the meal.  $200 from the 50/50 meeting raffle and the club treasury is being used to buy some GOOD stuff! Reservations required by January 10, 2007. Call Al Jones at 237-2284. Payment should be made at the January meeting if possible or at the banquet. See you there!!

Altoona Spring FunFly

The Altoona R/C Club will hold a spring FunFly on June 11th with a rain date of June 18th 2006.  As always, all State College Flyers and spectators are welcome.  AMA license required to fly.
