The Food Concession

While most modelers think that they could live on model airplanes alone, when it comes to surviving on a hot afternoon at the flying field, some food and drink are greatly appreciated.  This service is provided at the SCRC flying events by a volunteer group of SCRC members.  The food concession offers hamburgers and hot dogs to eat and a variety of cold drinks including bottled water.  They also have fillet minion on the menu at a modest price but I hesitate to mention it since I have always been too late purchase any.  Seems they always sell out very early.  Sometimes I think that maybe they don't really even have any!!!

Harry Anderson preparing hamburgers and hot dogs for the waiting crowd.  Harry has served as the master chief at the SCRC events for many years.  Keep up the good work Harry!	Not all the duties associated with the concession stand require a great deal of physical effort.  Here we see Al Jones guarding the financial office of the concession stand.  He must have felt that Lynn Zinsmeister, almost hidden by Al, could not handle the strain of the job by herself!
Jeff Favuzza is enjoying the food from the concession stand while Harry is standing behind him employing Jeff to help with the grill work!	Looks like Hugh Zinsmeister provided some relief for Harry at the grill.
