- A Look Back -

Well, another year draws to a close. We might think of it as a year of losses. We lost a long time SCRC member and good friend, Harry Anderson. We lost our flying field owner Leonard Grove, and consequentially, we are losing our field as well.  While these things are certainly downers, I prefer to remember the many great times we had in 2005. We had successful Fun Fly and Air Show events. The dry weather gave us an unusually large number of good flying days, which went well into the autumn season. We introduced several new members to the joys of R/C. The list of good things goes on and on!

I look forward to 2006. We are well on our way to having a new flying field, new good times and the camaraderie that characterizes our club. So look up, guys, and let the good times roll! Or should I say let them fly?

That’s all for this month.

I wish you all the blessings of this joyous holiday season.
