Old Business –
a. Fun Fly this Sunday, July 16th.
b. Air field regulations regarding several
incidences at the field. A meeting was held by the officers and in that meeting
by the officers it was proposed to have the helicopters fly over the hover area
on the left hand side of the field. The second barrel would mark the far right
area where the helicopters will go. The first person in to fly helicopters will
go to the left followed by the next person and so on. Dwelling over the runway
by the helicopters means the helicopters stay to the left of the wind sock
barrel. The airplanes will stay to the right of the barrel by the wind sock.
When a helicopter is flying, it is recommended to try and make your approach
between the two barrels to the left of the wind sock, then land to the right of
the wind sock. Motion was submitted and approved by the members.
c. Airshow – August 13th.
