Early
Saturday morning, the day before the 2003 SCRC annual Airshow, the club members
collected at the SCRC Flying Site to erect the spectator protection fence.

Sam Stitzer sums it all up
in the SCRC Newsletter, he wrote: We had a good day for our Air Show. It
was warm with a moderate wind which changed direction from time to time.
We had about 35 flights in the show and we were crash-free! Planes and
helicopters of all types were flown to the delight of a large crowd. The Centre
Daily Times had a photo of Sandy Jaffe and his scale Hughes 500 chopper in
Monday's edition (See below), and channel 10 (WTAJ) news featured about 30
seconds of voice-over video of planes flying, and an interview with Mark
Wharton!
