This rare glass tray has been recently excavated in Caesarea

This rare jade tray (actual size 17"x12") has been recently excavated in Caesarea, Israel. It was probably used in the first century. It is not easy to see, but if you look carefully at the top left side of the tray you will find the Latin words:

DO-'T M--S W-T- THE N-TT--- LIO-S

Archeologists are quite sure that the full inscription was:

DON'T MESS WITH THE NITTANY LIONS

This rare find was discovered in an old photo album of Ms. Rita Coss, this boy's cousin. Anthropologists estimate the boy was seven years old. The first question she asked herself was: "Why does his head lean on his fist?" Physiologists told her that the boy's brain was so heavy that he had to use some support.
