7 Things To Know About Facebook

Here it is folks--the Facebook White Paper! I love this little package..it packs a lot of punch in a doc all about Facebook apps. And, from what I can tell, there's not a whole lot of things like this out there. That's right, it's going everywhere.

Big thanks to our friends at ETS: Cole Camplese, Brad Kozlek, Chris Stubbs, Yvonne Clark for folding us into the project and being great collaborators and also to our own Binky Lush for all her hard work on this. You rock!

In the time since the application came out and now the white paper, I'm really excited about where this and projects like it might lead. I've been trying to think of where there are other iterations of our CAT aside from cat.libraries.psu.edu. The only other instance I can think of is our widgets that Binky created for us to use in different places like iGoogle, my sidebar here, and for being the building blocks of our new Research Jumpstart page.
To me, there's something really cool about that--creating new instances of the CAT...a librarian's way of spreading the love.
