Special focus on using the Blogs at Penn State platform for e-portfolio development, courseware tools, and other innovative approaches. Participate on a variety of program and design teams, and special research projects. Use content management systems and social software (blogs, wikis, podcasting, and social networking sites) to create new opportunities for teaching and learning with technology. Create faculty development sessions and work with multiple stakeholders.

Build client relationships while facilitating the learning process. Manage faculty (both academic and industry). Identify/meet client needs before, during, and after program visits. Follow up on client wishes and expectations to develop deeper relationships and future business with individual clients and the companies they represent.

Develop/implement/manage program marketing campaigns. Design or work with designers and printers to create/update/distribute program promotional material. Maintain Web site. Write and edit marketing material and business proposals. Research and compile reports. Aid with database program registration and participant pre-program questions. Interim Assistant Director of Marketing Communications during her maternity leave (April-September 2005).
