An Award Winner!

One of my design won an award at a science themed art show hosted by the New Media Centers. I submitted this on a whim, but I'm glad it was able to win a Judges Choice Award.

This was a piece designed to show a values of a single color. I created the actual design though by using circular √3 graph paper. As long as you put the same design on all sides, it was going to look good. By the way, I stitched a second version, but now lives in Fairfax County with my friend Marguerite.
