Welcome!

I love teaching and working with students (some of whom I am delighted to spotlight in my blog).

Milestone:  9,000 Students Taught

I am currently Professor of Practice in the College of Information Sciences and Techology, and former Clinical Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the Supply Chain & Information Systems Department, in the Smeal College of Business.  Both colleges are part of the Pennsylvania State University at University Park, Pennsylvania.

It's been a lifelong dream to become a professor and work with students.  I would like to thank my current IST department head, Dr. Michael McNeese and Dean David Hall, as well as my former Smeal department head Dr. Gene Tyworth and Dean, Jim Thomas, for helping make this a reality!  The University Park community is a great work and educational environment complete with spectacular students.

Before completing my Ph.D. and receiving this appointment, I spent ~20 years in business.  I have traveled and worked around the world, including Saskatoon (Canada), New York City, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Dallas, Spokane, and
Nürnberg (Germany).

I am active with my wife (a Smeal alumna), and three children, in both visits to Walt Disney World and Civil War reenacting.  Our Civil War group portrays the 148th PVI soldiers originally led by General James A. Beavera prominent figure in the history of PSU.
