I can attribute my interest in geography to my fantastic high school earth science teacher, "Doc". He introduced me to oceanography, geology, meteorology, astronomy, and lead me in a month-long field study in Wyoming. With his urging I invested myself in the world of geography and have never looked back. As an undergraduate in geography at Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania, I studied a wide range of geography topics. My main interests are rooted in Nature/Society issues. Explore the Education section of this web site for more information about my geographic interests. I have been accepted to Ohio University's graduate program in geography and look forward to starting this new chapter in my life. I have had some wonderful university experiences which include membership with the Penn State Crew Team, a six-month stint in New Zealand, and an internship with National Geographic. Details of these events can be found in the Activities and Experience portions of his web site. Overall, I hope this web site proves to be informative and enjoyable. |
