Geography 485: GIS Programming and Customization

The focus of this course is to learn GIS programming concepts using ESRI's ArcView 9.2.  I will utilize Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming language to solve real-world problems that require functionality beyond that of the basic ArcView program.  With the completion of this course I will have learned how to automate repetitive GIS tasks, customize the program interface and share these customizations with others.
