Leopard and Static IPv6 addresses, part 2
I've confirmed that static IPv6 addressing is broken in Leopard (at least via the GUI; it works fine from Terminal). I've filed this as bug 5643493 with Apple.

And now, 3 months later, it isn't fixed yet.
Too bad I can't go back to 10.4, because my MacBook was shipped with Leopard. :-(
Agreed. I recently had to upgrade to Leopard on my main desktop (I upgraded to a new Mac Pro). It's still too buggy for my taste.
What's odd about this bug is that it isn't universal: It only happens on certain machines for me.
Hello,
today I tried to configure static IPv6 address on e1 interface and it's still not working! Now we have 2009! Configuration from the terminal and admin account works just fine.
