collegian readership

Since we've been in Rider, and the boxes are loaded with the days papers, I've grabbed a handful of Collegians on my way in. There are two boxes on Burrows, and they used to be packed so full in the early hours that I had trouble grabbing four. At the end of the day, as I passed the boxes, they were usually close to empty.

Lately, they've been putting papers in one box only. The stack comes half way up. I noticed the last few days that as I leave, the box seems still half full

Since they weren't loaded today when I came in at 5, I went back out to grab them. Then just went back out again. Then I went over to the box at the post office. No papers. Sorry. I know Thursday is a big ad day with a "Venue" insert. Maybe there were problems. Dunno. Don't care. Along with many other things, I'm tired of deflecting my path to accommodate minor blips in the program when avoiding the blips completely is so damned easy.

From now on, I'll read online.

Okay… maybe I'll do Friday's sudoku.
