Welcome to the Department of Horticulture Undergraduate Resource Page. This website was developed to provide students majoring in Horticulture and Landscape Contracting with easy access to information that will be beneficial during your career at Penn State. Penn State is a large university, but programs in the College of Agricultural Sciences are relatively small and we take pride in our teaching and advising programs. So you have the feel of a “small college” while taking advantage of the vast opportunities offered only at a premier large comprehensive research university. The University has many programs and resources for students, but it is often difficult to find the information you are looking for. Many of these resources can be found by clicking on the titles in the buff colored area under the word “welcome” in the top third of this page. Each category contains a group of URLs to resources within that category. We hope this site will facilitate your searches for information. We encourage you to use this page, as well as our Advising Center, often.

Your college years will be challenging, but this will also be a time of excitement, exploration and discovery, learning, having fun, and making new friends.
