Welcome, Baby Tim!

What a great Christmas present for our family!
We came home Christmas day, 2002.

At discharge from the hospital, Baby Tim weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz.  It is typical that babies lose weight after birth and before Mama's milk comes in.  At his first doctor's appointment on December 27, he had already gained 4 oz. or 2 oz. per day!  The pediatrician said they hope for babies to gain at least 1/2 to 1 oz. per day, so we're just kicking butt here!

The rash has cleared up and it is clear that this little boy has blue eyes.  Our little diamond in the rough is beginning to show his beauty now, just like his two big sisters!  I deny that Baby Tim looked like Art Buchwald at birth.

Baby Tim weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. today at the doctor!  He is in the 75% for height at 22 1/2 inches long and 50% for weight for a 2 week old male.

Almost 3 weeks old

3 weeks 5 days old
Baby Tim weighed 10 lbs. 4 oz. at the doctor today.  That's 1 lb. 8 oz. in 12 days or 2 oz. per day!  He is definitely beefing up his boney butt.

2 months 3 days old!  Baby Tim snoring after getting 4 shots today for his 2 month checkup.  He weighs 13 lbs. 8 oz., is 23 3/4 inches long, and his head is 41.8 cm wide!  Wow!
