Biography
I am presently a Doctoral Candidate in the College of Communications at The Pennsylvania State University. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where I majored in Communications and Psychology. After graduating, I moved to Boston, MA, where I spent two wonderful and responsibility-free years waiting tables, temping, and working in offices before moving to Prague to teach English at Charles University. I returned to the U.S. to do my Master’s at Suffolk University in Boston in Communication Studies, eventually taking a full-time position as the Coordinator of Service Learning for the university. I somewhat reluctantly left this very enjoyable position to attend the Doctoral Program at Penn State, where I am currently teaching and writing my dissertation.
