My Daughter Caroline

So, this is my little girl, Caroline.  This picture is from a year ago when we were getting ready for an Orioles game.  Caroline arrived on May 8, 1996.  That was two months before she was supposed to join us!  She had a few scary moments, mostly because she has a very unique condition.  Caroline has agenesis of the left lung.  According to one article we've found, only a few hundred cases have been reported.  Luckily for us, Caroline had few of the major complications that can occur with this condition.  She's been a very healthy kid and you sure couldn't tell about her condition from the way she races around.
