My research interests are in the economics of aging and
health. I focus much of my study on models of health service use by the
elderly. Some of my recent projects have included an examination of referrals
patterns in the Medicare program and a project comparing home health use in the

In my "spare" time I serve as a

I am a huge Baltimore
Orioles
fan and try to catch a few games each year.
I like to read and run, but haven't had a lot of time to do either recently.
I collect quotes and what I sometimes call "boy's sports books", the really hokey sort of books from the 1950s and before (I think my oldest one is from 1893). It has something to do with a passion for "The Three-Two Pitch" a Bronc Burnett book written by Wilfred McCormick which my brothers and I read a lot as kids.
I am also busy trying to entertain my son, Connor , and my daughter, Caroline . Together
they are "The Premie Team". Connor
