Chen Zhou is a Ph.D. Candidate in Marketing at Smeal College of Business at the Pennsylvania State University. She uses structural and classic econometrics tools to study firms' strategic decisions. Her current research focuses on understanding how firms make service quality decisions and pricing decisions in a competitive environment. She is also interested in other research problems, such as salesforce incentive contract design, incumbents' competitive reaction to new entrants, mergers/acquisitions, and strategic alliance decisions.
Chen got her undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature from Tsinghua University, China, and her M. Phil degree in Marketing from City University of Hong Kong. She is expected to receive her Ph.D. degree in summer, 2013.
