Blogging is hard so I will make it harder

I have a lot of respect for people who write regularly anywhere that gets published. I have been suffering from writer's block. I think one of the problems that I am having with my blog is that I don't have a specific theme. I just wait around for the divine muses to reach down from the heavens and inspire me to write about something that I find interesting. I think it's time for a change to that approach. Project management is interesting to me, and IT is interesting. The problem is that there are just too damn many people already blogging about that kind of stuff. I have been thinking over a new approach to my blog. I am going to try to write more frequently but less at a time.

So here is the deal. I am going to shrink my posts by giving you links to things I think are cool with no more than one paragraph of commentary. I have been using Twitter a great deal and I find that restricting the form makes it easier to write. The paragraphs to start will be written in the style the traditional 5-7-5 of a Haiku. You may ask "Why?" now. The answer is, "Haiku is cool for me." Enjoy the new format.

Love this new idea—it takes a special kind of masochist to make frequent blogging harder. I'll be rootin' for you!
Notice I said more frequently than twice per month, but not every day. :-)
